Calvary Learning Center’s Curriculum
At Calvary Learning Center (CLC), we believe that a child’s joy, curiosity, and faith are central to their learning. Our curriculum nurtures the whole child, mentally, emotionally, socially, physically, and spiritually, while providing developmentally appropriate experiences that prepare them for lifelong learning.
Through our unique curriculum, we follow a faith-based, child-centered approach where activities are tailored to each child’s abilities, interests, and pace of growth.

1. Faith-Based Learning and Character Development
Every day at CLC is rooted in Christian values. Children experience Bible stories, songs, and prayer while learning to live through kindness, empathy, respect, and integrity. Through guided play and nurturing relationships, they grow socially and emotionally, developing a strong moral foundation and sense of purpose.

2. Academic and Cognitive Growth
Children progress through a comprehensive, age-appropriate academic framework:
- Infants (6 weeks–12 months): Tummy time, first steps, early communication, and sign language.
- 1s: Colors, shapes, counting, music, large motor development, and creative art projects.
- 2s: Fine and gross motor skills, social skills, themed learning, music, art, and Bible lessons.
- 3s: Writing, phonics, classification, counting, daily art, and music activities.
- 4s (Kindergarten Prep): Math, phonics, reading comprehension, Spanish, sign language, art, music, and Bible lessons.
Our hands-on, experiential approach encourages children to explore, ask questions, and make connections between learning and real life.

We know that learning happens best in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. At Calvary Learning Center, children enjoy outdoor play and exploration, which supports gross motor skills and encourages a connection with nature.
Creative expression is encouraged through daily music, art, and movement activities, allowing children to explore their imagination and talents. Practical life skills, including problem-solving, teamwork, and self-care, are woven into everyday routines. With small class sizes, each child receives individualized attention, ensuring meaningful interactions with teachers and opportunities to develop confidence, independence, and resilience.
