At Calvary Learning Center, we believe that God has entrusted us with the great responsibility of guiding our children as they grow mentally, emotionally, socially, physically, and spiritually.

Their well-being is dependent upon the care and support they receive both at home and at school. Therefore, we seek to work together with parents to consistently provide opportunities for our children to develop as whole individuals.

Mission

Hands-on Learning

Calvary Learning Center uses a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate for preschool children. Children are taught through the use of learning centers, manipulative toys and games, play, and other hands-on experiences with the environment.

A print and number rich environment is provided so that children will develop pre-reading and math skills in a comfortable, natural setting.

Our history

Originally named Happy Day Child Care Center, our preschool has been serving the Wayne area since 1982. Calvary Learning Center’s mission is building a foundation for life-long learning in a loving and nurturing environment and equipping students for life with Christian character and academic excellence.

Calvary Learning Center is a state-licensed preschool. We are currently serving students from 6 weeks of age through Kindergarten.

I am so extremely thankful and blessed my family found Calvary and Calvary found my family! Smiles , every day, are how my kids go to and leave school! The love , understanding, and care that the staff show my children on a daily basis is unmatched. The education/curriculum my children receive everyday is truly something I’ve never seen. They also offer a valuable religious program which has instilled their faith at a young age. My daughter is excelling in their kindergarten program and my son has grown exponentially in their 4 year old program. I am in awe of how loving and dedicated the teachers are to their students. The adjustments they’ve made to ensure the safety and foster learning for the children goes above and beyond. As an educator, my mind is at ease and as a mom, my heart is full!
